Even with her extra padding, I beleive Dora will find Faye considerably less cuddly than Marten.
In fact, I don't beleive anyone, anywhere has ever used the word 'cuddly' to describe Faye.
(links to several occasions where Faye has been described as 'cuddly' by other characters in the comic in 3, 2, ...)

Ah, yes, I forgot about Faye's defensive spines (a separate mechanism to her offensive barbs) for a moment. Who else around here has a lap?
Hannelore? No; flailing is not conducive to curling up.
Marigold? Combine Faye's reaction with Hanners only about one-quarter as severe. Still not happening.
Luna? Unlikely, hasn't even met this one yet.
Sven? Would have been adorable if she were twelve or something, and Sven wasn't such a man-whore. Currently far too creepy.
Penne-lope? Depends if Wil is in the room or not (she might not even notice if she were in turn sitting in Wil's lap. Yay for recursion!).
Who else?

Having spent waaay too much time in the company of the military I don't know of anyone that comfortable to state, "I'm going to whack off in your bathroom, just take a minute. Watch my beer for me."

Tai? almost as bony as Marten.
Jimbo? Maybe, if he took a shower.
Angus? The stink eye that Faye would give her would melt glass.
That leaves Veronica Vance, but Marten might have a problem with that.
Maybe she should just stick to Marten, but try the side without the arm of the couch in the way.
