Border Reiver:
Amazing that there as been actual character growth over the course of the strip and that the characters aren't locked into their original set? That would mean that Mr. Jacques is a storyteller!
On the other hand, can we have the custody battle take place in a traditional location - a wrestling ring coated with warmed oil or mud?

Just on the basis of weight, I'd guess that Faye would have the upper hand. Unless she has no muscle tone and Dora is secretly doing triathlons then Dora would be kicked to the curb.
On the other hand, Dora is bi. She probably has some nasty tricks that Faye wouldn't suspect.
Carl-E:
What does being bi have to do with wrestling?
...nevermind.

Maybe, but Jeph certainly is - married, new house and all...

OK, now that's just snide.

Ummm... they are a good example, maybe. Role models, even. But as comic characters they prove nothing! Remember, they all spring from the mind of their creator. They may be realistic, but Jeph dictates their relationship, along with a few other things.
Unless he's one of those writers who thinks the characters take over their own story and he's completely lost control - in which case, Jeph, you need some help!
dunnright:
Can I just say that (I know this has been evident for some time) but it really hit me in today's comic, particularly panel one, how far Jeph's drawing/art skills have come.
It seems like every month or so, I think "Wow! His skills are getting better and better!".
Bravo JJ, Keep up the good work!
Carl-E:
JJ?
Damn, all I can think now is "dy-no-MIIIITE!!"
