--- Quote from: Border Reiver on 11 Jan 2010, 04:19 ---Don't do it hanners, its not worth it.

After you got rid of Faye, marten and Dora, then you'd have to deal with the people in the neighbouring apartments (just in case they heard, or knew you were there), then the people in their neighbouring apartments, etc.  It's too much work.
--- End quote ---

And soon enough, the dirigible is in flames, everybody's dead, and you've lost your hat.

And any plan where you lose your hat... is not a good plan.

dsdm:
God.  Which is worse, that he made an M.C. Hammer joke, or that I immediately got it?

Mad Cat:
And just think, right across the border in New Hampshire, you can walk about with a .44MAG strapped to your hip and no one can (legally) say anything about it.

http://www.mass.gov/legis/laws/mgl/269-10.htm

Basicly, since an expandable baton is not a billy (club), it would only be referenced by Chapter 269, Section 10 by the " or other dangerous weapon other than those herein mentioned" but there's an out there. The litany of weapons (which does not mention a collapsible baton) is for carrying, as in public. The billy, et al. is in a separate passage referencing only being armed with it when being arrested, on a warrant (presumably Hanners has no warrants) or while disturbing the peace (maybe if having an OCD meltdown, that can be a risk). So, I read the law as permitting the carrying of ASP collapsible batons with the proviso that you're not already a criminal, and don't make a spectacle of yourself.

Of course, IANAL. (I Am Not A Lawyer)

However, I♥ANAL. (Not really, stop asking.)

BTW, ASP collapsible batons pretty universally come in three, not four, segments.

Does anyone else find Dora's face getting more and more boyish and less and less womanish? I want the black/blonde combo hairdo back. She looks too much like Martin now.

It's also a little disturbing that this is not the first time Hanners has made references to murdering her friends.

At least she's devolved from blades to blunt objects. Also, Dora wearing lipstick looks less like boy.

Mr_Rose:
What's wrong with Dora looking like a boy? Some people love the androgynous look.

Is it cold in here?:
Hanners was definitely not thinking things through. Even with a blunt object, the corpses might bleed, and then she'd have to dispose of them.
