no, i am attempting to make a point. if a musician dies of lung cancer should you get all pissed off that they smoked? musicians are people, and people should have the right to get high or skydive or practice auto-erotic asphyxiation if they want to. it's stupid to get mad at an artist because they do something that might get them dead.

barring overdose, famous junkies have lived quite long lives. see: burroughs, keith richards, aerosmith, lou reed, kim gordon, etc.
