One of my old cats was a mean motherfucker. He would growl and hiss as he ate his food. I think he was secretly a dog in a cat's body.
The Duke:

I don't think they would know what the word "torrid" means, because judging by the name of their band, they are in Grade 5.

That's the first thing I thought of too. When I read that comic, years back, I thought "Oh, silly Dora, projecting onto her cat." Now, though, I think the cat really does suggest murder at every turn. :/
Be My Head:
D'AWWWWWWWW
Also, cats aren't evil; they just like to scratch things/people.
Akima:

Well there is the possibility that Mieville is no ordinary cat, but actually Dora's familiar...
--- Quote from: APolaris on 21 Jan 2010, 09:31 ---I don't care how cute or mouselike their mews are the rest of the time. The instant you put them in the bath, it's the Torrid Wailing of the Damned!
--- End quote ---
My last cat was a Red-pointed Siamese very much like these. Far from mewing, he growled and snarled as if he were some kind of miniature cheetah.
P.S. I think I've succumbed to this. Perhaps this whole thread has too...
