Hanners WTF FTW. Though we have had hints of her murderous nature now and again (this is where I post links to said comics, but I'm lazy.) Now remembering the Rapper Phallus and giggling. Also, she seems to be channeling the xkcd strip an earlier post mentioned.

The denial in that Mieville just displayed his dominance over Pintsize? Mieville was facing away from Dora and Marten...she might not have seen the face he made. Rather, she might have just seen him get really close, and then purr and rub on Pintsize. So...friends.

I might have gone with that, but it was pretty clear that Marten know what was up, and she could still see Pintsize's face and reaction.

Agreed and agreed. I need a panel 3 shirt stat! I expected the Hanners reaction to be a freakout over cat hair and bowel trouble or something.

Hannelore was so good with Sven's cat, though, until she found out it had a stomach bug.
Mieville was a female in strip 217 as well as being a male in 442.

I was under the impression Mieville was a male.
Not sure why now, except for the author, China Mieville (a guy). But then there's also Anne Marie Mieville (Mrs. Jean-Luc Godard), so I dunno.

He is a male, but IIRC he was emasculated by the vet.

I love how Mieville is starting to back away slowly in the second panel.
As if he senses danger but isn't quite sure.
Also there is no trace of him in panel four. Cats can become invisible you know.
It is one of their altogether Evil powers.
