basically, all of Central Park had bright orange blankets blowing in the wind in the middle of winter. It was kinda neat.

On the topic of seeing Sunn o))) live, you definitely should, I'm not that big of a fan of the actual music, but the live show is... something. I mean, I still felt empty two days afterwards without a shit load of noise just passing through me. All other music just felt really empty. It was pretty weird.

For the record she was pissing me off before I even knew who she was related to

Sign your name to your posts and I don't think anybody would care. Thus we can tell when we are talking to "Tricia" and when we're talking to "Jackie". Just do it as a favour to the rest of us. It's weird enough as it is.

i am the only one posting from this account!  can't we just drop this?  srsly?

i mean feel free to PM me with evidence about how it's patently obvious when i'm not being me but otherwise, who cares?  i'm just here talking about music... and dovey, if i offended you i'm sorry, i will be more nice?  i'm really trying here.

and also ptommy even if i "signed my name" every time i posted i'm still allegedly getting banned tomorrow night unless i provide a picture (which i am going to do, but still, i shouldn't have to).

I saw SUNN0))) tripping on acid.  I sat in the back of the room and the acid was pretty weak and it was still totally nuts and I had to leave near the end of the set.

I know it was near the end of the set because 2 blocks away, frantically looking for an alley to piss in (because I was not about to go back into the building where the concert was just because I desperately needed to void myself), I could still feel the vibrations in the small of my back, and as I finally relieved myself, I felt the vibrations stop and realized that the set was over.  I went back to the building and people were filing out.  I had deliberately evacuated my body of every ounce of waste I could 5 minutes before the set started, and yet 40 minutes later I excreted more water than I'd probably drank at all over the course of the entire day.

Those guys are serious.  The live show is probably the most purely intense sonic experience I've ever had, including Bassnectar, which is saying a LOT.  It's not just that they're loud (the wall of bass amps they play through has a facade that's easily 90-100 square feet).  It's that so much of their loudness is subsonic and slams you in the intestines that the cells in your abdomen basically experience the visceral equivalent of an 8.0 on the Richter scale.  It's actually probably really healthy and cleansing for your body (minus your ears of course).
