Okay so, my mom called today.

"Hi, do you want to come to your cousins birthday party on friday? Your aunt just called and invited us."
"Yeah sure, I'll come!"
"Oh and by the way, you know she's not well right? Your aunt I mean."
"Well yeah, I know they found out she had cancer last year, but dad told me they discovered it at a very early stage and that she'd make a 100% recovery. I saw her at the Christmas party and you can't even tell she's ever been ill, so it's allright."
"Um about that... they discovered that it had spread a lot, so she's already had a breast removed and she's currently undergoing chemo, all of her hair is gone and she's pretty weak at the moment."
"What?! But... she'll be fine right? I mean, they discovered it at an early stage and all, she has to be fine!"
"She says she'll be fine, but you know... you can never know. I know her, she's always been realistic about things, so if she says it'll be fine, it'll be fine."

... What the fuck! Kinda worried right now  :-(

I stressed myself out so much that I needed to do something. So I started cleaning/organizing our bookshelf. We've got enough Dune books to make a decent size Frank Herbert library, also one first edition copy of Dune. And a number of books on Perl. As well as lots of poetry. What I am saying is, my boyfriend and I are nerds.


Also a decent amount of graphic novels.


Basically, if we sold off all our nerd crap, we could make a pretty large chunk of money.
