You forgot me. But no, not cursed because several much-loved animals came to the end of a long and happy life. It's sad, every time; but the world keeps turning.

Sorry Paul, that was not intentional at all! I guess the others were easier to think of since they had all posted about it more recently. Anyway, my next pet is going to be a turtle or a parrot, seeing how they'll probably outlive me. I don't even want to think about that my cat will die before me. Yeah, the world keeps on turning, but sometimes it's just too sad.

Yeah, it's always very sad but...so it goes, as one of my heroes, Kurt Vonnegut, would have said.
My roomates and I are planning on getting a kitten as soon as we can find one so that'll be good. I feel like a need a cat in my life; it's just one of those things.
Plus, we have a shitload of mice that need killing pronto and these modern mice seem to outsmart all the traps we use. They're evolving. :-o
