Blog Thread III : Look Who's Blogging Now

We're one step closer to sorting out this car shit, thank craps.
I mentioned in my previous missive that to secure insurance in Ontario you need an Ontario driver's license and in our case this means getting a detailed driver's history from the West Australian DPI (our equivalent of the DMV). That has been the source of most of our grief since the previous post, as three calls to the DPI, one to the West Australian Police, and a couple to the Ontario Ministry of Transport have yielded some wildly varying answers as to where and how we actually procure this thing. Our solution to this has just been to do EVERYTHING, and thus remove any chance of being told we did it wrong when next we front up to a MoT office in Toronto. This morning I woke up to the news that these documents are now winging their way across the planet to us, hopefully reaching us by Thursday. This means that there is a good chance that we will not be thrown any further off-schedule and we can continue our itinerary as we had originally planned.
Also we've done a bit more walking around and managed to uncover some little pockets of cool in Toronto, so I don't hate it quite so much. I still wouldn't recommend it though, what with a whole other planet being out there and all.

Toronto was fun to visit, but I don't think I'd want to live there simply because it is too big. But then again, a lot of the internet was there, so that was part of it. Glad to know you're going to be able to get other places easier now!

Finally decided what I want for a tattoo. I've been wanting one since I was 15 but never knew exactly what I wanted, and then realized today I want skunk pawprints, three of them, like tracks going up my arm.
I mentioned it to a friend, who I found out already has a skunk pawprint tattoo, and I asked to see it, and she showed me this:
and that's perfectly what I want. Whoo!
