I'm going to have to post Overgrowth http://www.wolfire.com/overgrowth If you check out their previous game Lugaru (rabbits kicking ass against other rabbits and wolves, what!?), you'll be excited about Overgrowth. Also they have a really thriving pre-order community as anyone who does so gets in on weekly (daily?) builds and discuss it on their forum. The first one had a lot of ability to modify it and such as well. Also, it's great to see independent developers be successful.
