That kind of reminds me of how I haven't yet got into the XX because when I first saw their name on the "New releases" sign of my local record store the sign was partially obscured and I thought it said X and I thought maybe there was some new live compilation or something for the legendary LA punk band and then I got a better view of the sign I saw it was some band I'd never heard of called the XX and I was like "Fuck those guys" and that's soured my attitude to them ever since even though I've never heard a note of their music.

I guess it's a good thing Gordon Lightfoot's not dead. If he was I guess he'd have to change his name to Gordon Deadfoot or Gordon Skeletalfoot or something.

Same, then I tried to judge the song on its' own merits and was all like "holy shit this is so boring"
