Well this is just concept art that's half in game and half painted over. I don't know if it will look that great.

And compare 0:20 and 1:42. There's a companion cube on the right at 0:20, but at the same place in 1:42 there's nothing. Does that mean they cut the companion cube completely? They did say they didn't want to recycle Portal's gags for Portal 2.

From about 1:00 in the first video I posted it shows a new kind of cube that's kind of companiony but also it diverts lasers.
