Are you saying that they will do whoribble things to him? Like telling whorrible puns? Truly, even imagining such a fate is simply whorrid.  :-D

And maybe she'll mention it tomorrow, and Jeph just wanted to get his punchline and character background into this strip. But she easily could have segued "Faye wasn't mean to you, was she?" into "Not really, it was Dora who acted all funny. Hey Angus, I wonder if she's pregnant?"
