Something about the gaping mouths and staring, dead eyes of those muppets in the last photo makes me think of Real Dolls and that's just not a crossover I ever wanted to imagine.

Yeah only the blue face looks like even a semblance of a smile. Also for 'custom' muppets there really don't look to be that many options for everything, except noses, which is the thing you really need to customise least.

Actually guys, there is a slender possibility that I might maybe possibly be able to do this thang, but only if I find a job in the vicinity and come hang for a while. Ain't makin no promises but I'm looking at America as a job option for summer.
