Sorry about the lack of updates. We've broken down and are looking into hotels (we're trying to get multiple rooms on a single floor, connected if possible) in the area now. A few dozen requests for apartments either met with silence or a notice that it was taken for the weekend. One we got a response from was a Nigerian phishing scam.
But yeah, this weekend we are going to be getting some info on what's being finalized. I think Kat is planning on sending out a Facebook message today to folks for some more detailed info on how much everyone is willing to spend on hotel rooms.

This is looking seriously unlikely for me, guys. If my car hadn't needed to be replaced upon my return from Sydney, it would be another story, but being out $4k is just too much for me to cope with right now.
