Do you guys...

carvin:
I've been rereading the entire archives with my wife (we've been reading together for about 2 years but haven't managed the times to get back to where we started. We are close now though.) It's been pretty useful. Otherwise I just kinda know the time line and take guesses from the titles. Although, I only have quoted comic numbers a few times so far....

just when you think you've seen it all...

that's actually really practical though, for webcomic lovurz

Is it cold in here?:
A combination of the ohnorobot QC search engine and jwhouk's summary (which he's been willing to share by PM). Sometimes I search for strip titles but encounter the exact same problem that you do.

Ohnorobot is best when you remember dialog from the strip you're looking for or another in the same arc. This usually works since Jeph's dialog is so memorable. The downside is that it's missing the most recent strips and has a gap at roughly 920-980. The jwhouk episode guide beats it completely on coverage, for strips like the boyfriendbot assgrab which have no dialog, and for anything where you can't remember the dialog or it's too generic.

Now that I've given away my secrets it won't look like I'm an obsessive memorizer any more. On the bright side it will be easier to conceal that I'm a nerd.

Tuitsuro:
Hell, I just randomly throw out page numbers.  Sometimes I end up in a completely different universe though.

LTK:
That avatar. It is awesome. What are they?
