Joss Whedon to direct Avengers

Joss Whedon's strong point has always been dialog and character interaction.  I think that's lacking in a lot of Hollywood movies.  I am suspect to how well he can do superheroes.  Serenity, to me, proves he can do epic action.  Though, those are with his established characters.  I think it could go either way.  I'd rather see a Doctor Horrible feature, myself.

Since he's always been something of an awful director, in mine humble opinion. The man is a pretty solid Shakespeare actor, and that's the only good thing I can say about him.

Also he's an asshole.
