Kat has made yet another birthday cake, this time for our friend Maria.

My cake is not nearly as impressive as any of these. But my derby wife and dearest work mate moved to Sydney a few weeks ago so I made her this cake for her work good bye morning tea. It was devils food cake and delicious!
Her derby name is Billy Skater, which anyone who is not Australian will not get and even Australians who don't know who Billy Slater is won't get. But she is obsessed with Billy Slater and the Melbourne Storm NRL team so it is a most excellent derby name for her and I miss her so much :( :( :(
