I've always been under the impression that everything needs to be done in one day, but really, who am I to stop you? The main point is that we get something creative right?

I've done it in the past where I've made the album over several 4- or 6-hour periods on different days, as my schedule allows.

Yeah I think in the strictest sense, the rules are that you write, record and produce the whole thing in a single 24-hour period in May. But at the end of the day it's all about having fun and no one is going to berate you for bending the rules to suit yourself!

I want to do this so badly. Maybe I can dedicate a Saturday to the process. All strategically-placed mics in my apartments getting distorted signals of my banging on pots and pans and shouting.
Or all acoustic guitar wheedly wheedly.
