Re: tipping -- you can object to the "tipping culture" all you like, but the fact is that if you don't tip in situations where tips are expected, you're screwing the wrong people. It's not your waiter or delivery person's fault that their employer pays them less on the expectation they'll get tips, so why shaft them with your social commentary?

A fair point. "Society's to blame!" I guess... So we have no choice but to be complicit, because we can't "screw" the right people? I sort of agree, but... I prefer simply to avoid services where tipping is "expected".

Most of us find that being "direct and to the point" terrifies/annoys most men, long before we get to the bedroom... And don't get me started on creepy "nice guys" who hover around without ever summoning the nerve to ask us out...
