akronnick:
And her neighbors.
Mad Cat:
I was digging this Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal, but Sam's Club discontinued it, or maybe Kashi did... anyway, I stocked up when I saw the stock dwindling, but even that had to run out eventually. Then, I decided to try the Kashi cinnamon shredded wheat cereal, which I liked, it just never filled me up. Now, I'm trying this almond flax and it's just not working for me at all.
This episode of Cathy's Breakfast brought to you by Kashi and Sam's Club.

Odd segue. I'm not sure that Sam's Club advertises on message boards though. I actually tried Go Lean once, but it tasted like sawdust to me. Teach me to to try my grandmothers cereal.

Does anyone else think that Faye is just searching for reasons to not come out of her comfort zone at this point?
Of course the whole Sven situation was a setback, but in a way, she really went out of her way to keep him as emotionally distant as possible. It was as if she used sex to prevent making an emotional connection with Sven. Before they hooked up, they were on the path to become pretty close friends, even as they were antagonizing each other. Did Faye start a physical relationship to derail the feelings that she and Sven were developing?
I also think that Faye is the type of person who (like me) is afraid to pursue what they really want, not because they are afraid they will fail, but that they are afraid they will succeed.
If Faye and Angus begin a genuine romantic relationship, Faye will no longer be able to hide in her little (emotional) cave, whatever happens, things will be different, and that frightens her. (It scares the shit out of me!)
Schmorgluck:
Then again, the situation about Marigold is touchy.
I wonder what could make all of this easier. Besides Marigold finding someone, I mean.
Also, am I the only one amused by Marten jumping from sex-toys to guitars, like it's almost the same to him? Spoken like a true guitarist. :-D
