first harry potter 7 trailer!

<< < (16/20) > >>

Ikrik:
To put it in a little bit more context, the LoTR films were released a year apart for both and the Kill Bill parts were released six months apart.

Since each part is going to be full length this might actually be much more exciting than the past films have been.  Although I think I'll probably pass as I've never enjoyed any of the previous.  What makes me kind of sad is that Guillermo Del Toro wanted to direct this film but was busy with The Hobbit which he's not doing anyways.  How many years of complication has that film had?

StaedlerMars:
That trailer made me realize how big of a roll the Harry Potter books/movies played in my growing up.

I mean, they aren't, like, defining of me, but them coming to a close is like "damn you are old now son".

Chapters you know?

Lines:
AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is the little girl inside of me screaming in excitement. Be glad you can't actually hear it, because you'd go deaf.

Also: I am seeing BOTH midnight releases and I need to finish my Ravenclaw scarf by the time the first one comes out so I can be über nerdy and wear it to both. If not, I will wear my Dobby hat and cry into it when he's killed.

Barmymoo:
I was wavering between impressed and not very impressed until I saw "in 3D" and then my jaw dropped. Never mind that there's far too much action and not enough plot, HP in 3D will be mind-blowing. And it's good to see Hermione's dressing along Emma Watson's style.

Eris:
Harry Potter in 3D will be headache-inducing. The 3D opening of the last one gave me a headache, so there is no way I would go see a whole movie in 3D.

Also, with the examples of movies with the large time between them there wasn't a trailer for the two films that started off with clips from the second part. That trailer makes it look like everything is done and dusted; hell, most of the stuff from that trailer looked like it was from the second part anyway. If they're going to leave 8 months between the two they should have done a trailer for the movie that is going to be coming out now, rather than one that is essentially saying "look what you're going to see halfway through next year! Isn't it awesome!?"
