To be fair, the Gigantra Tower is taller and more ancient than any spire on earth or it's evil twin, mars.

Iceland is known to only exist some of the time. Sailors have reported sailing through clear, empty patches of water in the exact location where their maps indicate Iceland is. Nobody can explain why this is, least of all the Icelandic (when they can be contacted for comment)
