No, it's because NOW she looks like... Ellen.

She doesn't really look like Ellen to me, but she was drawn much cuter the last time she was in the comic.

I think I missed the joke in Tai's final line.

Are she and Cosette the same size, and therefore, Tai could act as a pants-proxy? ['pants-proxy' is a fun word.]
Would it be bad form for her to celebrate Cosette's cast removal?

And why do I think "getting the cast off tomorrow" means "Jeph is tired of drawing crutches?"
