Mr_Rose:
That sounds exactly like the sort of dick move the god of the bible would pull, actually.
MrMonk:
"With all that innuendo, no wonder her butt's sore."

And Hanners is leading with her chin.

I don't think that's the part of the anatomy Hanners is leading with.
I hope Jeph realizes someone, somewhere, is drawing some very nasty porn of Hanners and Mari. And those 4 guys. And then that giant dog!
Question: Giant Dog? Mari fighting The Red Bearon? I thought she was higher level than that. (Disclaimer: All I know about WoW I learned from the TCG.)

What about "Forbidden Planet", the movie Star Trek has been ripping off for decades? It's hard to watch, because Nielsen being serious looks so much like his parody of being serious!

Badoom-tish!
Carl-E:
I think what made it for me was Angus' line, "You'll break the spell!"
There is a certain magic to keeping something like that going despite the eventual realization by the speakers of what they've really said...
But what set the scene was Marigold's surreptitious looking up the hall in the first panel, as though she were afraid of getting caught. And her look of horror when Angus begins engaging with Hanners, weaving the "spell". She knows Angus, she knows what's coming, and she's absolutely powerless!
The devil may be in the details, but it's the details that really make QC what it is!
