Something that really struck me about today's (soon to be yesterday's strip is that Faye tries to thank Marigold not by simply thanking her, not by the Gunga Din approach*, nor by a silent look of respect before moving on to other things, but by trying to get Marigold to conspire with Faye against Angus. I can't figure out if this simply is the best Faye can do as far as being friendly goes (which is sort of sad) or delusions on her part (since, lesbian innuendo aside, MG's far more likely to 'side' with Angus, is she not?).
Meanwhile, I wish the new poll would go up. I've been…

Yesterday's Poll results: If word gets around abut Angus’s head games with Hanners, next thing you know, we’ll see:
Dale using it to extort cooperation from Marigold via his WoW organization Werve (We Exploit Rumors Vilely and Excessively) - 1 (3.4%)
Hanners deciding Angus has outlived his usefulness. - 6 (20.7%)
Dora mentioning her daydream of taking on four guys and ‘winning.’ - 3 (10.3%)
Tai countering with her own ‘victory’: she once ‘overcame’ seven with one lick. - 6 (20.7%)
Faye punches Angus for no particular reason. (Granted, we’ll probably see this anyway) - 8 (27.6%)

My wife tells me that even women who actively dislike each other will pass along warnings about creepy men. If Angus were, say, keeping whores in his closet (excuse me, pantry), then it would be normal for Faye to expect Marigirl to give her a heads up.
