I think this is complete BS, if you went to the show expecting something without ever having listened to the artists (hearing that one Velvet Underground song from that one movie doesn't count), and then decide to get angry when it's OMG not what you expected, then proceed to boo the musicians and demand your money back, you are a fucking dick. I don't care how much you paid for the ticket. Going to a show and not knowing what to expect in terms of the sound is a fucking idiotic move.

Couldn't agree more. I once went to an erhu recital, and one nitwit marched out half-way through the first piece muttering something rude about Chinese music, but even he didn't boo! As you say, given the names of the performers, what did the boo-ers (or should that be boors?) expect? I mean, The Velvet Underground was like a hundred years ago, and artists move on. If they wanted to hear time-capsule music, they could have gone to a Stones concert... :laugh:
