Actually, most of the complaints I have heard involved it having too little action and too much talking. And too much of a buddy movie feel rather than the ensemble piece it was advertised as.

True. I liked The Expendables. But I wished there was more action in it. And could have done without the romantic angle  :cry:. But I guess having a pretty face is mandatory these days. The fight scene between Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren was nice  8-)

These days? Dude, a completely superfluous love interest is just as ingrained as an 80's action movie trope as bad guys who can't shoot or Vietnam war revisionism or rampant homoeroticism
