akronnick:
He passed a "Health Care Reform" bill, but it's still a far cry from anything I'd call "universal."

And God I hope it won't take 100 years.

HiFranc:
snub, no one walks on water (unless you take a loose definition and include surfers), especially not politicians.

I think this should really go to the DISCUSS! forum but I'll say this about Obama:

I thought that he would be better for both the US and the world but, since hearing how his administration has extended (and toughened restrictions on reporters) that the Bush administration had, I've lost a lot of respect for him (to the point where I see him as the better part of a horrible choice).  You don't have to take my word for it, just go through the NPR's On The Media archive the last year or two.

My thoughts exactly.

Ah, but then I would have to believe what the media says. Well, I do. Of a selected few. But not the general media owned by the rich.

HiFranc:
Here's a bit more about NPR.

Ps.
The first episode I ever heard was the one from the 6th Feb 2009.

*Puts fingers and ears and hums* What's that? I don't hear any political talk!

"proofread your resume" Is that what they're calling it now?
