LTK:
Of course, that is an option. I mean, it's not like I have a legal way of getting to it, do I?

J:

So... The final episodes are up today. No more Legend of Korra. No more planned Avatar at this point. It is both a joyful thing and a sad thing. And I really think these episodes paid off. As fun as the action is... I got the most emotionally involved in the personal interactions.

Spoilered for those who haven't seen the episodes yet:

(click to show/hide)Kuvira finally realizes what a bitch she's been. Bataar Jr gets an eye opening awakening. The Bei Fong clan and Airbenders.. practically one big happy family by now. Yes, even Lin. Varrick and Zhu Li do the thing. (Finally) and the ending scenes... Korra and Asami going off together, holding hands and gazing lovingly in each others eyes... The Korrasami shipper in me sings Ode to Joy.

Question arising from the last episode of LoK:

(click to show/hide)Is this the first major character same-sex couple in a mainstream TV show aimed at teens/young adults?

Neko_Ali:
(click to show/hide)I want to say no... There have been other teen shows that have had minor characters who were in a same sex couple.. and I think there may have been a couple with main characters. But none I can point to right now. That besides... looked at it based on pure facts I don't think we can call Korrasami an absolute thing. With no embrace, kissing or dating it can (and already is) be argued that they are just really good friends. But I still say they put the ending in for the Korrasami shippers, as close as they could get away with.
