bunnyThor:
So...Faye hooking up with Angus McBoring is supposedly a good thing?

Angus is basically Marten without the backstory and talent. And frankly Marten can afford to be a little bland, as he is the straight man that all the other quirky characters play off of. Angus is an ancillary character, and so needs more sharp-edged definition and character hooks.
Right now all we know about Angus is:
* He used to an annoying customer.
* He's the roommate of a far more interesting character.
* He is apparently more good-looking than he is drawn.
* Marten thinks he's an okay dude.
* His presence is cock-blocking Sven right out of the strip.
He's not so much a character as a character-shaped hole whose boundaries are defined by actual characters surrounding him. He's the handsome non-prince that you live apathetically ever after with.  :|

The effect is still being felt on Twitter:

You forgot:

* He's a character in progress in a webcomic.
Bellisario's Maxim.

HiFranc:
That's the second time that I recall that Dora's acted as Faye's agent.  The first time was when she sold Faye's future sculpture.

Ps.
Talking about about that, how's that coming along?
