Border Reiver:
First dick joke of the week!
Carry on

Seems to be a popular theme. From Planet Karen, which was one of my favourite webcomics, until it seemed to become moribund. But on visiting the site to check the archives just now, I found it had updated! My day is a little brighter!
Carl-E:
--- Quote from: mastertoast on 09 Aug 2010, 18:42 ---I still think it's utterly unrealistic for marigold to be ok with faye and angus so soon.

And yet, she's OK with it.
--- Quote from: Is it cold in here? on 09 Aug 2010, 20:52 ---Marigirl is emotionally still in her teen years. It's in character for her to form a quick intense crush, go into a dramatic depression for a short time, and recover quickly.
--- End quote ---
It's not even that, "emotional age" is a pretty fluid thing. She let herself be caught up in a fantsy. And, like leaving a really good movie or putting down a really good book, reality's right there where you left it. That can be a good thing, sometimes.
Not that it doesn't leave you unchanged!
Also, Curse you Akima! [shakes fist] I soooo did not need another comic...

Not quite: The shelf they were assembling then was for beans and stuff; the cups are on some other shelf.

--- Quote from: Akima on 09 Aug 2010, 21:55 ---I wasn't there for the gig, but I imagine Marten striking ridiculous rock poses, waving his instrument at the audience, playing with his G-string... Electric guitars have a G-string, right?
--- End quote ---
But it's my only line!
