raoullefere:
I've said it before and I'll say it again—sadly, Faye is not a person for whom things can go right for very long. She can't seem to deal with complete happiness, and so, when she's not being oppressed, becomes a horrendous bitch. Faye apparently requires an everlasting O'Connor Moment, or at least a frequent one. Otherwise, fairly soon, she's going to be hunting the streets for puppies to kick.
Not that I would necessarily mind that, but it is a symptom of a gaping character flaw.
Odin:
I would probably laugh for a full minute at a comic of Faye running around kicking puppies to a horrified audience of the rest of the QC cast.

My little voice sounds like Morgan Freeman. Or occasionally Tychus Findlay from Starcraft 2. Goddamn, is that an earworm.
Is it cold in here?:
Would Faye only kick female puppies, as a Freudian slip for how she wants to treat herself?

You make a good point; Faye comes out and gives two scared people some much-needed comforting, and then sticks the knife in and twists, for her own sick gratification (AND for an unexpected punchline; when you live in Joke World, you gotta break some omelets...)
I hadn't seen that story before, but I have seen selfish, annoying people who'd benefit from a little mild shooting, on occasion.
[Note: I don't see Jeph stooping to having Faye kick puppies, but GUEST ARTISTS! Yoo-hoo! Get right on it!]
