raoullefere:
Yes, Faye has thought out this fantasy. Only problem is, unless Sven is somewhere, deep inside, exactly as wierd as Hannelore, he's going to be so turned off by the end of all that it'd be a miracle if he got an erection a week afterward.
I mean, a movie about fonts? Jesus Christ on a beanpole!
--- Quote from: akronnick on 23 Sep 2010, 23:20 ---I think Faye's thinking on this matter may not be entirely clear.
I mean she pactically attacked Sven during their first, err, encounter, but she seems to beleive that Sven has an almost magical power to get into ladies' pants.
One might even say she thinks he's some kind of Svengali. 8-)

Yes, but Faye's seen the aftereffects. Plus, you forget—whilst the 'look' didn't work on Hanners that night, it did work on Faye. All that aggression on her part you point out happened after Faye blushes from indirect exposure. This is not excusing her responsibility, (God knows I've pointed out the other reason she tripped Sven often enough) but it does give her reason to believe Sven does have this ability to some degree.
I will agree that, to make herself feel better, Faye has likely worked out how Sven could 'net' all of her female friends, except, hopefully, Dora. Hopefully.
Tergon:
The big thing that Faye, Dora, et al. are assuming is that Sven actually wants to seduce Hannelore. Yes, she's skinny and blonde and innocent-looking, which seems to be his type, but I think he's honestly trying to move on from that old persona.
The catch is that I think he might actually do something very similar to the scenario Faye paints, and as a result, Hannelore will get scared that he really is trying to get her into the sack. But if he were to go all-out on this date, I think it'd be because he's genuinely trying to show Hanners a good time, not because he's after any kind of sweaty reward.
Unless, of course, he deliberately shows her a mediocre time. A less-than-perfect-fantasy date, because "That's how romance works in real life."
Either one, your pick.
LeeC:
im more wondering if he just kisses her on the cheek at the end of the night and leaves...would hanners be flailing or scrubbing her cheek so hard her skull shows.
snubnose:
Faye knows how it goes. :-D  :-D
bhtooefr:
Did anyone else notice that Hanners even mentioned a case where she could kiss a boy?
