I love this show, even down to the casual  references (Mushroom Wars) and partially hidden remains of human society (Lich's lair from this week's episode, random nuclear debris laying all over the series) and the outcomes of their nuclear apocalypse (Ooo's bizarre mutations, etc.). In terms of American "children's" cartoons, Adventure Time is of one of the darkest.

they are dark but in a different way. B&M is directly dark, AT is subtly dark.

And billy and mandy is a great deal sillier with it's dark parts.

hmm Ron Perlman did the voice of the Lich. good job Mr. Perlman.

that raps up season 2 but season 3 starts in a few weeks.  Guess CN wants to keep these things pumping out before the voice actor's voice changes too much.
