You're very right, they could have been.  I guess I was referring to how they were not potheads at the time of my meeting them, as Dora's parents were still potheads when Marten met them.

I find that, having grown up in the 70's, most parents of my kid's generation toked. 

We had to give it up in order to do things like get through school or keep a job. 

Doesn't mean we'd turn it down if it was passed to us at a concert...

I found out a girl was stalking me by the time I got to the strip where Hanners makes her first appearances.
Except that Hanners is creepy in a cute way, and my stalker was just creepy.
Nothing terribly exciting or coincidental.
