There are some pretty awesome cars down there too.
GM almost brought the HSV Maloo stateside as the G8 ST but then decided America doesn't like trucks and axed the entire Pontiac brand. (I think they should follow tradition and slap the federalized Caprice front end on and call it an El Camino. Replace those godawful Isuzu designed pickups of theirs with something decent.)

That is an awful car. It is ugly, it is a stupid revved up ute (which is what seems to be the loudest cars taht drive past my apartment at all hours of the night), is an awful colour, the rims on the wheels are shit and it is just generally ugly.
I guess maybe it is fast or something?
