actually, considering the reason why jazzmasters and jags are popular now, this is kind of a possibility. they probably play well enough, and in ten years, they may either be really expensive or dogshit cheap like jazzy's were in the 80's when indie rock bands started collecting and screwing with them. that being said, those guitars are far more conducive by design to such use and fender made a lot more of them. but you never know. After all, travis beans have only shot through the roof in price and popularity in very recent years and there really weren't all that many of them made. gotta say, this is all highly unlikely for one reason, though: dusk tigers and especially that firebird thing are ugly. it's very rare that ugly guitars become popular though they may be a fad for a hot minute.

yeah but i like my dano reissue more than their old stuff

Lupercal:
I think easily modifiable/personalisable stuff will stay around. I know they stopped making gutiars like the Squier 51, but others will come. I wouldn't be surprised if something like that came out again soon.

valley_parade:
Agreed. The '51 got semi-cult status REALLY quick.

Actually to be honest the only reason I fucked up my Squier is because the middle pickup broke and I decided to not give an actual fuck about it. So I just fucked with it and now it's roughly the coolest thing I own.
