It's okay, man. Just take your taste inclinations for what they are. I've felt this way about rock music for at least a year now.

Lupercal:
To be fair I think Jungle will have some sort of revival now that dubstep has sort of been everywhere and back again at least twice.

At least thats what my Indian dubstep-lover housemate tells me. I just hear a good track every so often. I'm pretty oblivious to it all really. Apart from actual dub, like De Facto.

I mean, Zombie and Skream have been going in that direction a little. I don't think it'll get a full-fledged revival, though--Dubstep's recent surge of popularity in America feels like a death rattle, to me at least.

KvP:
Dubstep of the Deep Medi-standard sort has been on the wane for years. Jungle... probably won't be back, as a scene, but dnb in general has been threaded through dubstep variants for awhile now (Autonomic / Exit / Nonplus records, etc.) Actual jungle, I wouldn't discount it coming back (dance music is like broadway - lots of revivals) but not in the near future.

KvP:
New Burial out this Monday.
