First episode felt a little flat, but that might just be opening night rust or the fact that I'm no longer in high school and constantly running on Mountain Dew at midnight.

Really I think it was that so much of the show was interviews, which isn't Cone's strong suit. Cut it back to one per episode and add more of that "throw shit at the wall to see what sticks" Robert Smigel sensibility, plz.

Yeah I'm hoping that since tomorrow night's time won't be taken up by a big intro that he'll have more time for silliness and skits. I'm interested to see what his staff comes up with.

The understandable absence of Max does indeed make me sad, though.
My (and my brother's) opinion of Andy has been declining ever since some conspiracies we've been hatching. Conspiracies that check out with some other dissenting voices across the globe. We are not alone. But. He is better on the couch than he ever was at that stupid podium. He is not announcer material at all
