Anyone else not digging purple-haired Dora?
Radien:
I know I'm a bit late here in that I merely wish to express my opinion about the hair color change rather than amuse myself with tinfoil-hatted personality theories... but here's my take:
1. I like purple hair.
2. I think purple hair is better suited to other people than Dora, but it's so close to jet black hair that I hardly register much of a difference.
3. I agree that the black/blond hair was the most interesting of the colors that suited her.
Is it cold in here?:
Blond and black was my favorite too, and it reflected Dora's internal conflict.
jwhouk:
Oooh, higher-level meaning FTW!
Carl-E:
...aaaand so the purple was her way of just covering up that internal conflict? Black did that well enough, but maybe she just needed something louder to drown out the little voices...
raoullefere:
Or perhaps Dora is trying to come to terms with the shameful (to her) fact that she's a Prince freak. It's possible a good therapist can assure Dora there's nothing actually wrong with that.
