Raccoons are awesome also, Did you know some fool imported racoons into Germany in the 1930's? They spent all of the 60's, 70's, and 80's trying to extirpate them. No luck with that. Now they are migrating into France. (History repeating itself?)

Bah, those places look worse than they are. Once you get to a certain temperature, it gets too cold to snow. The cold sucks all the moisture out of the air and it literally can't precipitate.
I'm in the Canadian prairies. It's -20 Celsius here (that's -4 for those of you who speak Fahrenheit) and we have no snow outside. It's been cold or it's been precipitating. We had freezing rain about a month ago, but nothing since then. Weird.

Sloths are amazing. Slow moving animals covered in an algae that makes sure that any big cats steer clear of them? Pretty awesome.

My father's mother was from Manitoba and his father from Quebec. I think that is why I'm from NYC.
And in north Texas, no one has snow removal equipment. If it snows, we just wait for it to melt.
