Jimmy the Squid:
I think one of my rats is dying. He has a brain tumor and his balance and head tilt has been getting progressively worse. To the point where the other day he fell off the top level of his cage and slammed into the ground and didn't move for a while. I thought he'd died then but when I poked him he got up and nibbled my finger. His brother is going to be so lonely!

nekowafer:
That's awful, I'm sorry. It's so sad that we get so attached, to the small pets especially, and they're just not able to be around for long.

Edith:
Jimmy, that sucks. I'm sorry.

I'm getting Bailey on the 16th!!!

Eeeeeee!

Also, Katie, I don't react to saliva as strongly as I do to dander, which is why a hairless-or-less-hairy pet is a better choice for me. I can wash her off with a cloth every day to keep down the dander on HER, and then vacuum a lot to keep down the dander in the HOUSE and we should be golden!

Lunchbox:
Dear Edith,

http://www.furminator.com/

Do it for the good of your sinuses, your couch, and your vacuum cleaner.
I got on for my cat for Christmas and it is the most amazing thing. She doesn't leave fur anywhere at all now.

ackblom12:
Oh fuck yes that thing is the best brush. We get several cats worth of hair off of Sam when we use it and it helps a ton.
