The Joy Formidable have their debut out today. It's really fucking good. It's streaming on Spotify, but for those without here is their myspace:

Most of the songs on the album have been released over the past few years but they just sound a lot 'bigger' on here, better production etc.

Scandanavian War Machine:
new Akron/Family is really growing on me. I'm only on my third listen but it's gotten better each time.

I wasn't intitially impressed because it's pretty different, but I guess all their albums are pretty different. I was surprised with how "Black Keys-y" it is.


Now to see what this new A Hawk and a Hacksaw is all about.  :mrgreen:
