Anne Hathaway is fairly cute but just going by looks I'm a li'l surprised Hollywood hasn't stuck her in those roles where she's supposed to be the plain best friend despite being prettier than most people in a given random sampling. Most damning of all, the really jealous and possessive ladies I know think she's "nice and one of the prettiest women in movies," instead of a "skank" like pretty much every other actress under 30. Translation: they don't even find her threatening.
