RE: ben's old lady list
ally sheedy still looks pretty good sometimes! i just saw her in a new movie or show the other day and she was smokin hot.
i always had a soft spot for her in breakfast club though; even as a kid i was like "fuck molly ringwald, i want to know what's up with that chick!"

I'm much the same way. There's usually been someone in my personal life that I'm pretty infatuated with, for one thing, and I've always kinda suspected that being very fixated on people I'll never meet is bad policy in general. More than anything I guess it just never occurred to me that I'd have to pick one, so why think about it?
As for the dinner party thing, I don't really have a list for that either. If I made one, I suspect it'd be all political figures provided I could basically turn it into a question and answer session. For example, when we discussed a historical figure dinner party as an icebreaker in one of my history classes, I picked a list almost entirely made up of traitors and spies. I guess I'd rather be a nosy bastard than listen to Twain and Voltaire be waaaay more witty than I am.

Hey tommy, have you seen Match Point? I watched it a long time ago and didn't think it was very good, but I was recently reminded of it and I'm curious what you think of how it depicts American vs. British women.
