In anticipation, Merry Christmas to you all

my christmas had an absolutely terrible start but then in my angry, sleep-deprived state i found the courage to finally call my family in toronto for the first time in four months (yeah i know, i'm really not a great person) and they were all really nice and really happy and i might have cried a little bit and my landlord surprised me this morning with a really extravagant dinner for tonight and yeah, okay, i still have a billion books to read and lots of work to do but i've also got this bottle of cheap wine my lovely friend gave me and i guess christmas isn't completely ruined after all.

My Christmas wasn't ruined by the guys who shouted swears and racial slurs at us from their passing car, so that was nice!

Sorry Xmas thread, I was having a bad patch, see my post in the other Xmas thread. Things got better though. Xmas is alright.
