I would be interested in seeing Raven in the new art style, but she's never going to return to her old spot even if she comes back from college, which theoretically could happen in the summer. Whenever that is, I'm not entirely sure what time of year it is NOW.

The hair is irrelevant, and they're not identical of course, but the shape of the face, eyes and nose are quite similar. And I think there was a comic where someone (Veronica herself I believe) commented on the similarity between her younger self and Dora; I thought it was cool that it actually shows in this picture.

Actually, looking at that more closely, I'd say that the young Veronica looks a lot more to me like Raven. Of course, the last time we saw Raven and Dora together, I was hard pressed at times to tell the two of them apart (except for Raven's little mole). Or maybe this is just more evidence of me missing Raven. >.>

I agree. More similarities to Raven than Dora. Still SOME Dora in there, but more like a 70/30 Raven-Dora hybrid.

Wow, good catch. Not only is the complaint the same (I did something good and I didn't get anything out of it) but it is coming from the same place, jealousy that the other person is in the opposite place from the crappy position the whiner is in. Faye is feeling jealous of Martne being in a happy normal relationship, while her relationship is dysfunctional with no real hope of acheiving functionality. Marten is jealous of Faye being in the throes of a shiney new relationship while his has just crashed and burned.
