resomolutions for a brand new dovey

<< < (5/22) > >>

pwhodges:
Continue to ignore resolutions - experience has shown that they generally turn out to be less important than what actually goes down in the year.  However, in spite of that:

* Continue to not be dead.

And towards that aim:

* Lose some more weight
* Get better at eating healthily (in particular, resist drift back towards junk food)

Johnny C:
my resolution is to go to the gym on a regular schedule and that's the only resolution i have. i figure if i start being physically active, my diet is honestly decent enough (read: soup-, salad-, vegetable- and sandwich-filled) that if i actually attempt to exercise away the calories i do eat in a week, my body will resolve itself down to a decent shape and weight. that's how it's always worked before. and i think part and parcel with that is my mental health improving, which will lead probably to better performance in class, etc. etc. etc. time to be a well rounded person, thanks 2011. thanks for nothing 2010

Demonic Angel:
This is the first year I've done resolutions so I figured I'd stick to a fairly simple list:
1. Lose 5 lbs of fat
2. Work out 3x per week
3. Maintain my 4.0 at college
4. Get a girlfriend

And one for the decade ahead:
5. Buy a boat(live near place I can live in aforementioned boat)

StaedlerMars:
last year my resolution went something like
--- Quote ---Stop Drinking
--- End quote ---

I'm actually happy about how long I managed to not drink. I didn't have a booze between Jan and April, which I thought was pretty cool, I caved because well it was so much easier than not.

This year, I'm thinking my main new year's is going to be "eat meat only once a week". I don't want to be vegetarian, because I don't 100% believe in the vegetarian cause or whatever, but just because I think that's the healthier thing to do.

Also, I'm writing at 5 in the morning whilst drunk. I will come back to this message tomorrow.

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL OF YOU!

McTaggart:
Ten year goals:
Have a PHD

One year goals:
Move out
HD average
Sack up and get shit done

There is no good reason why any of this shouldn't come to pass. It's my responsibility to make this happen and it'll be my fault if I let myself down. Not recognising that has been why I've fucked up so much in the past.
